Olga Ways is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Florida. She is a founder of Acupuncture and Integrative Healthcare, LLC located near a beautiful master-planned community of Lakewood Ranch, FL.

Olga V. Ways received her Master of Science Degree in Oriental Medicine and Bachelor Degree of Professional Health Sciences form the East West College of Natural Medicine located in Sarasota, Florida. She graduated at the top of her class with a special Spirit of TCM Award for demonstrating outstanding dedication to academic and clinical Excellence and Integrity.

Olga V. Ways is a NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine which includes certification in Acupuncture and Chinese herbology. It is a considerable professional achievement to earn the designation of Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and has been the mark of excellence in AOM (Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) since the inception of the Oriental Medicine Certification Program in 2003. Diplomate of Oriental Medicine Certification is an indication of competence and safety for the practice of Chinese herbology and acupuncture since the certified practitioners have met the necessary requirements and also passed a rigorous assessment to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbology safely and efficaciously.

Olga Ways has over 11 years of clinical experience, successfully completed her internship which included working at the Health South Rehabilitation Center, Sarasota, FL. She treated patients with some of the common Western Medicine diagnoses such as sciatica, cervical and spinal stenosis, arthritis, bursitis, frozen shoulder, high blood pressure, neurological and cardiovascular disorders, allergy, common cold/flu, asthma, bronchitis, Chron’s disease, ulcerative colitis, acute and chronic pancreatitis, insomnia, constipation and depression, worked with women of various ages to help improve their fertility, as well as minimize PMS and hot flash symptoms.

Mrs. Ways is certified for acupuncture injection therapy using homeopathic remedies and vitamins. She has a training in mesotherapy and facial rejuvenation, as well as an additional training in celebrity praised MeiZen (“Beautiful person”) cosmetic acupuncture – which is considered the only non-invasive, natural cosmetic procedure that actually improves the health of the patients, abdominal acupuncture for weight loss and infertility treatment.

Olga V. Ways has a previous Bachelor Degree of Science in Education and Psychology and an additional Bachelor Degree in Philology with specialty in the English Language. She earned these initial Degrees at the State Pedagogical University in her beautiful historic hometown of Vladimir, Russia which ironically is a sister city of Sarasota, FL where she later continued her education in Oriental Medicine.

Back pain relieve with acupuncture

 

I went to see Olga Ways after suffering from chronic back pain.

When I arrived at her office she warmly welcomed me, led me to a treatment room, and did an extensive intake of my medical history. She then explained to me how she could help, and developed a treatment plan. Her acupuncture technique was virtually painless and I felt very relaxed. Acupuncture for trigeminal neuralgia.

 

I have a trauma induced trigemial neuralgia. I am on a prescription medication and have had constant headaches for about 8 months before I was recommended by my regular Western Medicine doctor to see Olga for acupuncture.
